Product Description:
This figure is a repainted version of the Marvel Legends Doctor Octopus. The colors are improved this time around, dark green and metallic silver. With the glasses, he looks just a little bit like Roy Orbison. True to his original design, Octopus is noticeably shorter and portlier than most of his evil cohorts, but the metal tentacles are much more expansive---bendable and sculpted with sucker-shaped nodules, the tentacles are actually capable of keeping the Octopus figure in a suspended position. A laboratory accident merged Octopus, mind and body, with his four durable telescoping tentacles. He developed a symbiotic link with the appendages---a process that popped poor Ottoâ?TMs PEZ dispenser beyond all repair and transformed him into a crazed supervillain. Though Octopus experienced brief periods of comparatively lucidity, he generally retained an evil mastermind default setting. Once his fixation stirred towards his hated enemy Spider-Man, Octopus expanded his operation, rallying a handful of other villains and organizing the Sinister Six.
