Somehow itâ?TMs comforting to see the Shocker acquire a new action figure likeness. The Shocker is clad in his familiar quilt-patterned shock-absorbing costume. Heâ?TMs equipped with his sovereign blast-generating gauntlets which are further reinforced by an add-on pair of bazooka-sized blasters. Unlike many supervillains, the Shocker, a venerable adversary, is an ordinary non-super-powered criminal who has bested Spider-Man a number of times. The Shockerâ?TMs gauntlets, capable of discharging vibrational assaults, are also capable of compromising physical structures; over the course of time improvements were applied to both his costume and the gauntlets, although the Shocker alone retains knowledge of the original technology. The Shocker had formed partnerships or alliances with virtually all of the villains on the Spider-Man roster.
