A good job on how venom looks - very vicious and powerful like a bad guy should. The only drawback is that my son had seen another version of venom in a friend's house and wanted that same version with a tongue sticking out. It is his most impressively evil trait and not available in this version. Regardless, this one is both well loved and well hated, so turned out okay.

The WB released a new, more kid-friendly Spider-Man cartoon, titled, "The Spectacular Spider-Man." The Venom action figure comes with a twist-and-release torso that unleashes a claw-slash attack. The figure is nicely detailed and highly posable, yet not too scary (the Spider-Man 3 action figures had too many jagged teeth for little kids).
