My 4 year old son asked for this particular laptop at Christmas last year and still plays with it 10 months later. It's great to travel with and I really appreciate the volume control on it too (lo, med, & hi). The options are endless which makes this a great learning tool and I can already see that this will grow as my son's intelect grows. I have seen other versions of this laptop but I must say that is is definately more user friendly, has a larger screen, and definitely more options.

This was given to my 5 year old for christmas and it's very lame and not worth the plastic it's housed in. Screen is very hard to see for anyone that looked at it including myself, no options, and very un entertaining. My 5 year old who loves spiderman and math hates this thing and finds it so boaring.
Get them something they will use.

There are a variety of "laptop" toys on the market right now, some are good, some are not so good. This one is a good one. It is extremely easy to use and will be addictive to some kids. The skill level for the laptop will adjust to your child's performance, so will become progressively more challenging as your child learns.
The laptop has a wide variety of "games" built around the Superhero theme and teaches kids basic math and spelling skills. I'd recommend for ages 5 - 8. The interesting part of this toy is that it allows you to save CUSTOM spelling tests, so can possibly compliment your child's schoolwork. The laptop also translates some words into Spanish to teach some basic Spanish language skills. Plenty available here to keep your child entertained while also helping educate them. Overall, this is a good value.

I gave this gift to my nephew for his 4th birthday and let's just say that he has not put it down since he has received it. I am a first grade teacher so I wanted to give him a gift that was both educational and fun. I was worried at first because I thought that this would be a little too advanced for him but once he opened it and started playing with it non-stop I knew that this was his favorite gift for his birthday. The graphics are quite amazing! Not to mention the audio and keyboard. I especially liked that the product was delivered in a timely manner and in good condition. I would definitely recommend this product for anyone that is a young Spidey fan between the ages of 4-7.
