Our two boys -- a 5-year old and a 4-year old -- really enjoy these action figures because they are highly posable and have multiple points of articulation.
The Black Costume Spider-Man comes with a web-hanging web that our kids use more often to 'capture' Venom or Doc Octopus.
The action figures are realistic and come in vivid colors (yes, even black has a nice shine). However, these figures are not as scary-looking as the action figures released during Spider-Man 2 and Spider-Man 3, which makes them very suitable for young children.
We've had four action figures -- this one, Spider-Man, Doc Octopus and Venom -- for a couple months now and they are holding up well under constant play.
